I love to be outdoors, as do most kids Weather permitting. An outdoor family photo session is the ideal way to capture fun and relaxed photos of you and your family in a natural fun way.

With large family groups due to limited space in studio outdoor sessions are a great way of capturing the family in a natural way creating memories to last a last a lifetime.

These location photoshoot sessions are perfect for families with young children and particularly great for older children who are full of energy or who may be a little shy in front of the camera. What is great is that the family dog/dogs can be included as well, or an extended family group too large for a studio setting.

It is a very positive experience for children and animals as what could be better than spending time with mum and dad in the great outdoors, playing games having fun and making memories at the same time.

Most of my favourite locations are woodlands or country parks nearby of which there are many.

Any time of year is great for outdoor shoots as long as you are prepared for the weather. Crisp frost icy mornings, spring daffodils, stunning carpet of bluebells, deep luscious greens in the summer, sunset shots on the beach and rich and varied colours of fallen leaves in the Autumn all make excellent backdrops for these shoots.

Booking information

The sessions are 1 – 1.5 hours long. I will send through an outdoor location guide on how to get the most out of your session and the type of clothes to wear to make your pictures look their best. Clothing plays a very important part in these sessions and I will advise on this.

Pricing

Due to the fact that my dates do get booked up quite far in advance , I require a £99  booking fee to secure your date and booking. This will be deducted from your final order.

You do not need to choose what collection to go for until after you have viewed your images 2 – 3 weeks after the shoot date. You will be invited back to view all your images . You can choose to purchase prints or products instead of a collection or opt for a collection plus wall art, album or other products. I do have a minimum spend of £299.00 for a studio session so on the day of the shoot itself £200.00 is payable . After viewing the images you can opt to stick with the £299.00 collection, order other products or choose a higher collection.

FAQs

How long does the session last?
Typically a studio session is 1 hour long it can be shorter to slightly longer if I feel we haven’t got the shots I need
What is the Viewing/Ordering session?
After your images have been edited you will be invited back into the studio to view your gallery. It is at this point that you will choose your bespoke package. All packages can be completely bespoke and you will get to purchase the products that you love, from wall art to albums to prints etc, there is so much to choose from which I will show you at this session
When will my images be ready?
At certain times of the year I am busier than others the typical time for the gallery to be ready to view is 3-4 weeks. I do aim to be quicker if I can
Can you cater for larger groups over six?
Yes outside I have no limit on numbers.
What shall we wear?
I will send over recommendations but generally colour coordinate, light airy clothes such as creams , beige , camel, blues, whites all work well together. You don’t all have to have the same colour combination you can mix and match and tie in the colours with accents of colour. No stripes, large patterns or character clothes.
Where will the session be?
It is normally in a woodland or country park near my studio . If however you have seen somewhere you would like the session then I am open to discovering new areas. I am willing to shoot on beaches and know some nice quiet ones in Kent. I just add extra travelling costs if further than 10 miles from my home.
